Mid arm on frame

Hi, I need help I have a janome 6600 on a grace frame! Having some trouble with tension, but it could just be me! And what designs have you done! I know my space is limit to what I can do! Is there anything I can read or video to watch that could help me! I really want a long arm, but I had the machine and the frame was given to me. Please help me! Thanks labug

If you are just starting I would suggest stipples and /or swirls with the little loopy circles as great beginner get the feel of it type of quilting.there are many videos on youtube by many of the great teachers.

my favorite site at the moment is The Inbox Jaunt. She post a new free motion motif every Tues AND keeps the previous ones saved. www.theinboxjaunt.com She quilts on a domestic machine not on a track frame. She shows each motif one line at a time and often more variations also. I am hoping and waiting for her to publish a book! I am waiting
to add it to my quilting library!

Check www.kathyquilts.com. They are a Grace Frame dealer and there are you-tube videos they've done for the "not quite as long as I'd like" arm quilter.

Thanks so much for sharing this website! It's my new favorite, too. :-)
