Good morning all, I received some quilt blocks from a friend and when I started to join them for a quilt, I noticed a few had some mildew on them, is there a way to remove the mildew from them other than bleach? Some of the blocks are not white but colored. Thanks for all the help/tips.

Try vinegar. Natural antiseptic ( not sure if its the right word)

I have removed mildew with amonia.

thanks! I have a new HE washer. well long story short;filter clogged, door locked and clothes were in there for a week before the repairman came. yuck the smell! cold here so no proble. the basement was very cold. but for future ref-thanks

Spray with a little water and set in the sun should help take it out. Marilyn

I don't think you can delete them. Some folks edit the duplicates and say something like oops or duplicate post. I wouldn't worry about it. It has or will happen to all of us. :-D :-D

it's best to leave overposts as they are. we delete the ones we find (or in this case when the member lets us know it happened). the ones we don't find are no big deal.
