Press seams open, when pressing, unless you trimmed down a bit, they should meet in
the middle on the one inch strips, but not overlap, good way to check if everything is turning out the right size. (you can press each seam as you go along or all at once at the end of putting them together. ) |

Special instructions if your strips are in more than one piece.
Sew until the one strip ends, add on the next piece and carry on, if there is another strip after, sew in all along the pieces, joining then together. When you press it is easy to check if your seams are 1/4 inch, the edges will meet but not overlap. Try and be as accurate as you can be, of course we all now things match up better that way.

too bad I couldn't figure that strippy, butting ends together thing before I did what I did ... but, I have gotten used to doing things the hard way! LOL

GRRRRR .... so, NOW my machine decides to pitch a hissy fit ...
I will have to go to the Operation 1161 sewin at the LQS and be back around noon. I think I will take this thing with me to at least get the step one done for when I get back. Please know that I will be thinking and praying for all of you and your machines <g> <wave> |
