Pollytink, your quilts turned out lovely!

Thank you! Don't think I'll try to do 4 at the same time again soon. Or rather I'll start before November if they're for Christmas! But from what I had read about people using Minky on the board, I was pleased with how easy it was to work with. Mine didn't fray etc. as some have said, when cutting; I think because it was the "dot" style. I have a robe that I think is Minky and it's plush, I could see how cutting that would be a bit messy! The pink on the back of the pink fairy quilt was white so I took another plush throw, like the brown ones, that was red and washed the Minky with it. The red plush bled enough to tint the white! And when I washed the finished pink one, with a color catcher, bleeding was very minimal.

I used minky on the back of a quilt for DD's friend's little one. I didn't pre-wash the minky or fabric. I did wash it when I was completely finished and it turned out great. If minky wasn't so expensive, I would use it on lots of quilts backs. It is so soft and warm.
