The other night I saw a full length mirror that would transform into a small table and then, with a few more clicks, into a larger cutting table. Did I see it here? Was I imagining it? I would appreciate any help you can give me. Thank you!

That is a very ingenious idea :D:D:D

I saw it somewhere too. Probably in a quilt book. This would be wonderful. And look nice in my room. Let us know if you find one.

Clever use when space is at a premium.

That is such a great idea! If they don't show a price, it's probably way too much for my budget though.

WANNABEE 04-24-2010 04:45 AM

It's on page 10 of the new Quiltmaker magazine and the list price is $999.90

Holy cow! Guess I was right...if you have to ask, you can't afford it!

marsye 04-24-2010 04:51 AM

Thats cool!

BKrenning 04-24-2010 04:52 AM

This site shows it with a price of $460: http://www.sewingmachineoutlet.com/rob99.htm

What a great space saver but I would probably keep using it as a table.

Here I go again about thrift stores, but do you think it could be made with an old standing mirror. Maybe with legs that drop down on the sides? Just a thought.

dsb38327 04-24-2010 06:04 AM

Looks inviting but would be a waste for me because I rarely put my work table away.

stichinluvr 04-24-2010 06:49 AM

Thanks for finding it for me. At least I know I wasn't dreaming.

littlehud 04-24-2010 07:18 AM

That is so cool. What a great idea.

MISHNJIM 04-25-2010 04:57 AM

That is a pretty neat idea. But for that price I will still be dreaming...LOL

zz-pd 04-25-2010 09:38 PM

that is so neat, I sew in my living room, so when I sew, I wheel my cutting table out of my bedroom in to the living rm. I open it up and put my Iron board I mad with a pocket door on one end and my cutting mat on the other side. and I hope nobody comes over, because there is no rm in the living rm. will I can dream. thank you for the sire. God bless. Penny

is it really a glass mirror? or do you think it's some kind of mylar or something?
i can't picture using a glass mirror, even upside down, as a sewing and cutting table. it doesn't say what the reflective surface is made of or even mention glass.
