Mississippi Valley Quilt Show

Today I attended the Mississippi Valley Quilt Show here in Davenport, Iowa, it's held every two years. Plenty of vendors, some I purchased from, and one or two others I wish I had bought something I saw.
Spoke to a sale rep about a Nolting 14" machine...just big enough with enough space to quilt my Project Linus Quilts, but it only had a 5 year warranty....will think on that. Purchased some "cast off's" in half yard pieces for $1 ea and a Marti Michell 8 1/2" Winding Ways pattern with templates for $4. Score!!
Also purchased a panel with Monster Cars for a Project Linus, a beautiful yellow/green piece with dots of red for my apple core table mat. There were several wool vendors with beautiful pieces that made me drool. And lo and behold I looked up and saw Don Isewman and spoke to him. Wish I had bought a two day pass instead of just the one day. Oh, the quilts......gorgeous of course. They gave me hope and inspiration that I could do that too someday. Can't wait for 2020!

yes, usually the shows I've gone to are expensive on everything!

Glad you had a good time. I always think I should buy a two day ticket, but then I spend too much in one day. Lol
