Block From MSQC

I got my Block on Saturday. It was worth the wait. Very nice magazine, and no ads.

There is one - the mini periwinkle that seems more complex that I have never attempted using paper...will need to read more carefully . Overall, it is more like a book and not a magazine. It is definetly a keeper and well worth the money.
I really like the clear instructions on material needs.

You can always go to youtube for the video of periwinkle or any of the others......I would like a cd of those tutes

I prefer a subscription not because I have to have mine first but because I forget it's time for a new one to come out and run the risk of the stores being sold out when I finally remember. And just for the record I prefer ordering a subscription and paying for mine by the year. That way I get a reminder at year's end and I can renew or not.

As far as a suggestion re the BLOCK mailings:
I think we should pay for postage and that way we'd all get them within a day or two of each other. I mean, really,
the magazine is well worth it....no ads, gorgeous photography, sweet stories, multiple quilt patterns, large pictures, easy read print, etc. Those who don't choose to pay the additional postage can place an order at M* with an order
and get it that way. I just can't see the USPS' bulk rate service improving any time in the near future.

I still have not received mine so I called yesterday and they are taking a list of names and checking with the Post Office. So if you have not received your copy you may want to give them a call.

Anoka Quilter. I live in maple grove and have had mine for two weeks now. It is really weird the way the mailing is going on this magazine.

To all that have questioned the "order" of mailing them out - print facilities usually do the shipping by sorting - matching zip codes together - it gives them a break on the cost of postage when part of the job is already done for them.
