Moda Bella Printable Fabric
Has anyone used printable photo fabric from Moda called Bella? I purchased some at my local quilt shop, but no instructions with it. The quilt shop told me instructions were on the website, but I found nothing. The salesperson said I just needed wax paper ironed to the fabric so it could go thru the printer , but I can't get the wax paoer to stick to the fabric. Any help please?! Thanks so much. I am doing color photos for a quilt of valor.

It should probably be freezer paper, not waxed paper. Reynolds freezer paper is in stores in the same area with waxed paper, aluminum foil, etc.

Sometimes people get mixed up & think they are the same thing but you need freezer paper, Not wax paper. 2 very different products.

Isn't Bella the name of their solid cotton line like RK Kona??

Bella is Moda's line of solid color fabrics. There is a fabric that is ready for dying and is normally called PFD (prepared for dying) as far as I know there is not a fabric that is ready for printing. If you want some info on printing onto fabric look up Bryerpatch studio. Caryl Bryer Fallert has the most complete information of anyone I know
