had to go to the 'big city' today so "just happened" to stop in JoAnns... got some batiks off the red tag tables for $3 a yard...
then tracked down the jelly rolls - was TOTALLY amazed to see the EXACT SAME brand, EXACT SAME fabrics in the jelly rolls at JoAnns for $24.95 a roll as I just got on the mark-down counter at WalMart for $9 a roll... and they had a gazillion fat quarters there... didn't get any... Our JoAnns is pretty small and it seems like every time we go in there, there's less and less quilt fabric - more and more flannel and fleece.. And we saw cotton from $5.99 to $12.99.... sure glad I have a huge stash! |
