More Bow Tucks help

On step 4 when you do the inside pocket. Do you topstitch on the fold line or raw edge? Also, do you cut the pocket down the center on lengthwise?

Unfortunately, I no longer have my bow tucks directions, but I topstitched 1/4" from the fold line. If I remember correctly, the inside pockets were cut so wide by the width of the fabric. Therefore, you cut the piece in half lengthwise. It will be larger than what is actually needed. You'll just cut it down to size after attaching the pockets to the purse lining. If you have any other questions don't hesitate to ask.

I am about to make my first Bow Tuck and understand the directions can be confusing!

I would be glad to help you if I can. I've made 14 or 15 of these and am in the process of enlarging the pattern for a big diaper bag/purse! These are so much fun to make and once you make one you will want to do another.
PM me if you need help.
