Hints from "www.aliceinstitches.com"
1) Try machine quilting with denim/jean needle size 80/12. The universal needle is too rounded and tends to produce a crooked stitch when quilting. the denim needle punches nicely through batting in even straight stitches. (interesting) 2) Try to buy unused pizza boxes from a local pizza palor- great flat boxes to store blocks and cut squares and are easy to stack. |
Thanks for the tips. I've seen people with the pizza box and thought that I'd never use one that my greasy pizza came it. Never thought about buying it. And I am going to try that needle, I'm willing to try anything to make my quilting look better.

My pizza place knows me and I sometimes ask for a clean one "to go". I pay .25!
