I just got back from the laundromat. I washed and 1/2 dried my latest quilt - the Amish one - Broken Dishes. It is all done, with the exception of the label.

I hung it out on the line to flop in the breeze, puff up and just take in the beautiful day.

I look at it and I know it isn't perfect. I know there are mistakes, but by krackie, it is the Most Beautiful Sight in the World.

Galloping horses or not, this one is a real keeper.

Funny that you mention galloping horses. I just saw my friends horse galloping yesterday. It was feeding time, and had to play hide and seek to find him. When he saw me, he realized it was dinner time and the sight of him coming to get his food left me breathless!

Ditto!

How nice it would be for us to see it blowing in the breeze on the line, as it finishes its drying!

Reminds me of our trip to Lancaster. DH could not get over the quilts hanging on clothes lines and on porches out in the country. Makes them all look like works of art. I just wanted to stop and touch them all. Happy for you!

There's such a feeling of accomplishment and pride when you see that finished quilt. Congratulations on a job well done.
