Most Common Size HST

I want to buy some Accuquilt Studio dies, but do not want to buy what I do not need. My question is what is the size most used in HST?
Thanks

I think it depends on the type of quilts you make. I know that I've always used a lot of 2 1/2" and 4 1/2" HST's but just lately I have been using 3 1/2" HST's. I usually make 12 1/2" blocks so these sizes of HST's work well for me. If I favoured 10 1/2" blocks, only the 2 1/2" HST's would work. Before you decide, think about your quilting style and what size will likely be the most useful.

I don't think that's a question that can be answered! I would buy the size that you have used use most in the past, probably ones that finished on a whole inch, like 2,3 or 4".

I have always bought Thangles and their finished sizes were 2" & 3".

I actually think I would just use triangulations instead of Accucut. First off, you use all your fabric, no waste at all. And your hst are perfect, always. It is worth it to me to paper piece because of the accuracy. I love Triangulations, but some of the more common sizes are free - I think you could google them.

I've had an Accu Go for many years and my advice is to just buy the dies that are complicated to cut, like double wedding ring, winding ways, etc. half square triangles are so easy to make with the Eleanor Burns method and ruler, you make 8 perfect ones at a time in any size you want. Use your money to buy the fun dies for your accu go!
