motorized rotary blade sharpener

do any of you have it and like it?I am thinking I need a better way to sharpen blades here but hate to spend the money if it is a dud.

i have one. it does a pretty good job with much less effort than is required by other sharpeners.

two bits of advice, though:
1. wear ear plugs. the sucker is loud.
2. don't drop it.

oh ... 3 ... don't ask how i know it isn't a good idea to drop it. LOL

I have one and love it. The noise doesn't bother me. I've been using it for about 7 months now and the only time I need to change blades is when I nick it real bad on rulers. I had bought some of those cheap blades from Harbor Freight. I think I used one blade for most of those 7 months.

What brands do you two have? I am glad Wolph asked this question, because I have been thinking the same thing. It seems to me there are two different brands of these out and about.

I've been looking at the TrueCut Rotary Blade Sharpener. It sharpens the blade without having to remove it from the cutter. I like the fact that it's safer to use because you don't have to handle the blade separately. I haven't bought the thing yet, but I probably will.

Hmmm... I was looking at True sharp electric blade sharpener http://www.amazon.com/dp/B004RCHG9A/...SIN=B004RCHG9A

Please tell us more about the sharpener you own and why you would recommend it over other brands.
