Mug Rug Font Help
1 Attachment(s)
I made these mug rugs for my dd to sell in her chocolate shop in NY for Mothers Day. The fabrics have a rose pattern. I think they would pair well with the rose truffles that she makes (a little rosey wine wouldn't hurt either). Dh thinks the font I machine embroidered should all be the same size. I think it would look like a monogram. What do you think? I appreciate your opinions.

IMHO what you have looks great. BrendaK

I like it the way it is. I agree that it would look like a monogram if the letters were all the same size.
|
if MOM was in a font like the one in this message, all caps would work. in a fancy font, though, i like the way you have done them.
|
i like it like that i think it looks better this way

Do one dh wAy and see. Someone will buy it as it will still look beautiful. If you are using two sizes of letters personally I would use chital letter to begin and lower case after. Bu.t what do I know I was only a teacher.

First letter capital, the rest should be lowercase if you are using complete words (easier to read)....monograms are all capitalized
|
Thanks for your input. The font is Anita Goodesign and the set only comes with capitals. Maybe I'll try and find another.
|
I really like it
|
I think your way would be best.

They are cute as is!!!

These are really cute and should be good sellers. However, I do agree with others who suggested lower case, and perhaps a less fancy font for all but the first letter.
|
I think they are very nice the way they are. I hope they sell well, they should.
|
I think they're beautiful, and wouldn't change a thing!

I think it looks great the way it is.

You could always make a few like your daughter suggests and see which ones sell better. Whichever one sells out quicker is the one you should go with. After all, your goal is to make the customer happy and sells lots of them, right?
