i am getting some great coffee/tea fabric from other forum members. thanks! Mug Rugs are so much fun and I have seen some wonderful patterns.

I want to make some of these for friends, add a nice mug and a small coffee or tea for the holidays.

If anyone has an design that is more than a basic one for mug rugs I'd love to see it.

I gave my sister one for her birthday. I made it big enough for a drink and a sandwich. She has to eat at her desk all of the time. It is about 6 x 8". She has only had it a week and everyone at work wants to know where she got it. Think I might start selling these little puppies.

On flickr: http://www.flickr.com/groups/1533394@N22/
there is a whole group about mug rugs. In the discussion (all the topics below the photo pool) there is a thread about different tutorials (also for binding). Great inspiration to make your own mug rug :)
