Multi Function Foot Control
I am thinking of buying a multi-function foot control for my Babylock Crescendo but am not sure if it would be worth the money. Any of you that have one, how do you like it? Is it easy to use? I was wondering if you tapped the wrong part of the foot control by mistake would it zip off sewing when you wanted to cut the thread for example? Thank you for any information you can give me.

I bought it at the same time I bought my Crescendo last summer. Out of all the "extras" I have purchased over the years (and that is a lot), it was the best purchase by a mile. I love it.
You can program what functions you want the small side pedal to do. I have the bottom of the pedal set to cut thread. I have the top of the pedal set to raise/lower needle. I have it set up with the small pedal to the right of the regular pedal. That way, I can work my foot/leg to the right as I finish sewing, move my foot to the right to hit the thread cutter then raise my leg up to the right to raise the foot with my leg bar. After a very short time, the movement became very natural feeling and is second nature. Love it!!! |
Love mine for the dream weaver.

Thanks! It sounds like it would be a good investment.

I got mine with my Brother Dream Machine. I love mine, yes if you hit the one you have programed for cutting by mistake it will cut the thread but once you get use to it that doesn't happen much.

The connector bar on the bottom also has several different slots to attached the pedals to so that you can have them close or spread apart a few inches.
