Cabbage Rose is moving across the street from their current location and I am going to their moving sale tomorrow. Hope everything is really marked down. LOL. And I hae to pick up DOnated Dropped off Quilts for Project LINus there. |

Holy cow. I've never seen anything in a thrift for less than 4 bucks. Cool beans for you.

this is a place that is all donations and all the money goes to Animals...the woman who runs it is great!!! She prices everything really low and the place is spotless...Someone donated all of a woman's sewing items...she sold the sewing machine and a ton of other stuff. I did not have time to go through all of it...so many new items in the packages. 3 for 75 cents...zipper, thread, scissors, all really nice items. I may have to go back tomorrow at lunch.

If you go to consignment stores its more expensive since they have to mark up prices 30 percent . Places that rent space to dealers are cheaper and better finds and of course any place that takes donations and just sell them like the place that does it for the animals and they have no idea how much the stuff is worth. Have fun!!! Its always so much fun even when I do not buy anything its like going to a museum.

I went back again today...one more quilting book about piecing...20 cents WooHoo...and three zippers for 1.00 - everything else was pretty much gone. They had a bunch of piping brand new big bag for 25 cents all in the packages never opened but have no idea what I would have done with it...the picture on the front showed a rug.

Fantastic Deal!!!

I went to the same thrift shop to donate a ton of stuff...I walked in and she said...Oh I have been waiting for you. I have something for you in my car. She ran out and bought back 50 mags. no charge...all for me...I have been going through them and passing to my coworkers. That was so awesome!!!!
