my cathedral window efforts

Wanting something to do hand sewing on, I decided to start a cathedral window. At first when I did the folds, the first set was fine, all the same, but the second set of folds always had one point that would not come out right. Then I learned another way of folding, now all the points come out good, but they seem so messy where the 4 points join together. I don't like the way they look. I thought of putting a small button at the joints to cover it up. Any other suggestions.?

Small yo-yos? Or embroidery?

Are you willing to show us your progress?

what about a fancy stitch? [ if you have them on your machine], it may not be so time consuming as sewing a button on & if you are going to use it a lot i would prefer that over buttons or some sort of add - on ... now that's a dilemma i hadn't thought about.....so many choices....

Buttons as you suggested are the easiest while small yo yo 's are the cheapest. I understand what you mean it seems that with practise you improve. I had one bad row in this quilt. I left it as it was designed for a dementia sufferer.oo this picture is before I did the roll of the sides over my square centr

We would love to see a picture of your squares. It would help the members to be able to advise you. Believe me, these members are very smart and all of us have made major mistakes. Good luck.
