Yay for you! Something new to play with... A stitch regulator is not a necessity. My sit down longarm doesn't have one and I have learned to be the stitch regulator! You will too... Good luck with your new frame!

I've been practicing on the new frame. So far, even though I can't quilt much more than a 6" x 12" area on it, I really like the frame. I do have some issues, but I think they are more with the Pfaff than the frame. I am learning to control the machine and am getting somewhat consistent stitching. I have figured out that I need to run the machine faster and move the carriage slower. Remembering that is key.
