It's official. It is now Ok to mix and match Bali batiks and prints. ;)

I've been doing this since I started quilting eleven years ago. I fell in love with quilting fabric - all of it. Glad to know the designers are catching on.

I was going to say the top designers probably would not have mixed these before. So yep, it's a good thing.

When was it ever against the law?:D I have done it for years.

So funny! I got the catalog also. I just put what I want together. Not so bad. After all these years. LOL!!

my favorite is the terms "batik quilting fabric" & "cotton quilting fabric" ... ???? ok, if you say so ....

So funny. Anything for another marketing gimmick. I bet this idea will be very profitable.

I am happy to say that I never felt like I needed their permission. I do what I want, and if the quilting police come to my door, I will show them my quilts and my Rottweiler. lol (woof woof)

My chuckle for the day was seeing a teenage boy without his bike helmet on BUT he was wearing a red flannel, fur lined deer stalker hat with ear flaps. What was he thinking?? :D

I should've been arrested years ago!

Does anyone really care what the designers do or don't do? I may love their designs but will use neoprene with batiks if it suits me.
