grandma's garden... I am always happy in the sunny garden... hmmm wonder if I could make my sewing room out in the sunshine! T

Probably, I' d make crumb blocks for the center and border them with spools. I'd put nine patch blocks in the four corners because the first block I learned was the 9-ppatch. The crumb blocks re presents the fact that I can';t bear to throw out a piece of fabric until it gets too small to sew onto another piece of fabric. Th e spools represent both my love of sewing and all the thread it takes to make those crumb blocks.

Gave this some thought and would have a center of the Washington,DC LDS temple, where our family was sealed for time and eternity surrounded by immediate and extended family photos and ancestors, now of course, this type of quilt is out of my expertise haha. However this goal of eternal life with all of my loved ones is the guiding star of my life.

A quilt of me in a maid uniform waiting on my dogs, cleaning house, working outside, working at work...Yes, a maid's quilt.

Mine would have to be a scrappy Log Cabin too, like Jan I'm a home body. All though I'm going to be working in my friends quilt shop fri & sat so HOPE I can stay out of trouble. I don't need to add to my stash or patterns.

Mine would be a sampler. Some blocks very geometric for my practical side. Others would be applique for my artistic side. Come to think of it, that WAS my first quilt.

Your quilt is wonderful. It depicts things that are important to you and your quilting friends. I can relate to everything in your design. Thanks for sharing. Eiltcoq.
