This block is one of the choices they give, but I do not have the sizes. The title is Celtic Patch 2. Do you know where I can find cutting instructions? I am thinking I might like to try this.

There isn't any block size. You create the block size when you are drawing the quilt in the sketchbook called layout. When you go to print, you can select Rotary Cutting instructions which will be for only one block. Hope this makes sense.

this block is an applique block and created in Patch Draw instead of Easy Draw. select one of your blocks, choose print. your choices will be block or templates. you will want to choose templates. as Maniac said, you choose your own block size... so when you choose print and template, choose the check box 'size from quilt'. one of the results, the background block, spreads over more than one page for printing if your block size is 8" or more. but the two template pieces will print on one page unless your blocks are huge. i hope this helps. ask more if it's still confusing.

ETA: i wouldn't bother printing a template for the background of the block because it is so easy just to cut that square.

Oh I'm sorry for misleading you. What I meant was the sizes of the pieces to sew together.

i guess i don't understand what you are referring to

I think she means templates?

Rotary cutting will tell you what size to cut your patches.
Templates will allow you to print out paper templates, and you can set the block size at any size you want.

This particular block is only an applique block. There are no seams in the Celtic part.

Last night I was thinking I can take a plastic sheet with grid lines and place it over the outline. I am thinking that way I can figure what sizes my pieces would be. With a lot of Celtic blocks they are curved and it would be next impossible (for me anyway) to do it as a regular block.
