You know, I don't actually know. What makes a bargello a bargello? :) I'm pretty new to quilting, and I haven't learned that yet. This is a background I designed myself. I sewed together strips of varying widths, then cut those into strips of varying width, then sewed them together with a slight offset to make the waves. Is that a bargello?

Yes! That is exactly what a bargello is! Well done to have figured it out for yourself - many people find that a very challenging process.

Very, very good. How big are your seam allowance? (You only need 1/8".) Do you trim away excess? zi agree about trapunto, BTW.
