It was at the bottom of an article in a Utah paper. I thought this was really nice, Doesn't it just sum up our Quilting love, everyone?
They all start with fabric and thread. But quilts are not just fabric. They are so many things. They are a means of self-expression; they are therapeutic; they introduce you to the camaraderie of a colorful, warm sisterhood. Quilts are inspiring. Quilts are wonderful. In many ways, creativity fills a basic human need.
It's true of arts and literature. And it's true of quilts.
