My Geese at the Cabin is leaving home

I posted this quilt during its progress to completion. It was so much fun and I am so happy with it. Hence it's position as my current avatar. But I knew when I made it that it would be going to its forever home this summer. And now I have to say goodbye - though I know my sister and her partner will be happy to have it at their house. Eileen turned 50 in July, Chris will in September - and our family reunion starts this weekend. Must be gifting time.
When I originally posted the final result - after 2 months of hand quilting - I received many favorable reviews from all of you. One last look....... parting is such sweet sorrow. ( somebody said that somewhere) |
What a special gift you have created for them.
You certainly deserve to be proud as it's stunning! |
