My Geese are Upside Down!

I am making a Q-sized quilt for a GGS and it has flying geese all around as one of the borders and they are upside down. I didn't notice until today when I finished up FMQ the interior of the quilt. It is absolutely too late to remove them and correct. How stupid of me! Regardless, I will continue w/FMQ. My intention was to quilt five loops in the triangle and since this border is obviously toward the outside edge, I have to quilt upside down also. I wondered if I could FMQ upside down. I can and am amazed as how easy it is.

Perhaps my geese are from the Southern Hemisphere!! What do you think?

It is a seasonal path. They fly north (up side), hang around for the summer (top), fly south (down side), and stay there for the winter (bottom). The "circle of flight!" lol

You've just created a new pattern!! (and if you don't comment about it, everyone will think it was meant to come out like that!) Goo job FMQ'ing upsidown!

Could we see a picture?

Well geese fly south for the winter anyway. I don't think there are rules that say geese have to go a certain direction and now it's an original!

Who is to say whether geese are flying north to south or south to north?? They might even fly west to east or east to west. Shoot, I've even seen them fly in zigzags and around in a circle! :D :D

Is the quilt already bound and mailed?

We have a local flock of geese that live at the golf course. They fly every direction. If you don't point it out, nobody will notice.

once you decide they are supposed to be that way, they will no longer be upside down.

Don't tell and they probably will never notice
