Great buy! Didn't know that Singer has produced a "new" Featherweight. Enjoy your new machine.

Anita

I bought on for a trip I took and found it will not hole the stich length or feed fabric , Think maybe the worse thing Singer has made. Sorry , just my thoughts. Love singers , that is all I would have.

I hope it sews like a gem for you! Every mfg has a lemon in them somewhere [were they all made on Mondays???}
;)
For the price you are not risking anything.....sew on it lots before it goes camping to make her prove she is worthy of your relaxation time. jmho.

I'd say you got a steal. It looks pristine so, if it sews at all, it's worth $7.50! And it will be perfect for piecing in the camper. Not like you intend to use it for heavy-duty stuff.

I have a very similar machine although the colouring is a little different. I paid just under $30 for it. I am ashamed to say that although I have had it for over a month I have not had a chance to try it out properly, have been very busy also it came without a manual so I will have to give it some time to work out what it does. I bought it to carry to classes and also for my holiday home. I think they are great, I like that you can slow down and speed up the sewing speed so it makes it ideal for when my granddaughter wants to sew. I hope I can call on you if I get stuck did you get a manual with yours.

I have never seen one of these before!! Man! What a bargain! I don't blame you, I'd have gotten it to.

Actually it does say; "Featherweight Plus." GiGi
