PM Billy - Lostn51 on this quilt site and see if he knows where to get a belt for it. One of the attachment needs a thumb screw and is a seam guide, screws into a hole on the bed of machine, fabric slides in front of it to make a straight seam.

Hard to believe the old girl looks so good for being that old! She has been well taken care of. You have a beauty. Mine is early 1900's and didn't look near as good when I got her. Belts are easy to find on line and so are the little staples that hold them together. You did good!!

I did not include the last zero when I checked the serial number. I guess I just could not believe I had found a machine that date prior to 1900.

Beautiful machine and cabinet. The belt shouldn't be hard to replace...I got mine from the Sears store. May you have many, many fun filled hours playing with it.

Lucky you,My deceased maternal grandmother used to have a cabinet just like that what I wouldn't give to find one like that.The sewing machine would be a bonus for me.LOL
