Christmas blessings are wonderful!!! Hugs to you!

What a blessing for that sweet family, and for y'all, too, for you surely were blessed beyond measure - and I'm not talking fabric, even though that was nice, too. :)

Your story has obviously touched a lot of us and hopefully will inspire more of these moments. That mom and her children will hold onto what you did and when they are in a better situation - they too will be as giving as your DH. If a family of four just ordered water when going out to dinner, just think of the "little extra" we could give to others. May you have a blessed Christmas and a healthy New Year!

Tears in my eyes too. Thanks for being their SANTA.

What goes around comes around.
Thank you for your generosity.
Kids should never have to suffer or be neglected.
I am soooo glad you hubby looked like Santa.
I hope the kids remember that they saw Santa
without the suit.

To all who have answered, yes my DH is a wonderful, caring giving man (most of the time). He grew up without a father (died when he was 3 years old). At Christmas he remembers worrying that Santa would pass his house by, so at Christmas he is very generous. We have believed in "pay it forward", since we were in our 20's (married 45 years this past July). God, universe, or whomever deity you believe in has been very good to us. Years have been very tough, years have been very good, but through it all we have always found that giving makes us feel good.

I have never found any fabric or sewing items at Goodwills, ever, so this exchange was very serendipitious. Really makes me believe!!!
