I love it! I want to make one so bad, but haven't gotten to it.

Maureen has it right. Use a different color for the first stop border, not red nor white. See hers at post no. 26. Your stop border could be a different red or tan. I guess you would have to audition a few colors.

Beautifully done. Love this done in 2 colours. She is one lucky lady.

Beautiful quilt top! Myself, I like borders. I also would do a narrow white & a wider red border. No matter what you decide, it will be gorgeous

Pretty..It needs a border.

Love love love this quilt!! Beautiful job.I also think maybe white border with red binding.
|
What a beau quilt- I agree that a double border would be nice.

Thank you so much, everyone! :)

Very pretty! I'd say a thin white border, followed by a bigger red border....
|
Very pretty. I would put at least a red border. Small white inner and then larger red would be nice. I personally do not like sqaure quilts, would keep it rectangular. My gol is to do one of these, when??

It's beautiful, with or without a border, however, a narrow border of white with a red border might look nice.

This one also has a different color for the first stop border. I think that is important. If you use one of the same colors as the pattern, you distort the outside pieces that touch that border. I can't wait to see your finish quilt. |

I put a border on mine but I made floating stars. I think yours would be great with just red binding. Beautiful quilt. Love the red & white. |
Red and white Hunter's Star is about 3 down on my list. Yours is beautiful.
