Wow, good for you! What a bargain you found.

ontheriver 05-28-2016 05:31 PM

Congratulations!! If I may ask, where did you buy, would love to see what is offered, if only to drool.

JuneBillie 05-28-2016 07:55 PM

That is so sweet of your hubby. I am very happy to hear of the great deal you got also. You are one happy camper.:)

I have the best hubby too. He will do anything for me. :)
I sewed made me a gown yesterday. I needed some gowns so made the first one yesterday so I could have it soon to wear to bed. He tells me that it looks better than any he has seen in the store. He always compliments me on anything I do, even if I don't always think it is the greatest. He is such a supportive husband.

Bree123 05-28-2016 08:35 PM

Congrats! What a wonderfully supportive husband you have.

Mimi Sews 05-28-2016 08:38 PM

My hubby told me the same thing today too... 'Go ahead and get a longarm'. But I'm not sure I want one! Do I want giant monster in my house, monopolizing most of one room? I am happy using my Juki to quilt. Guess I don't need a longarm.

sewbizgirl 05-28-2016 09:09 PM

JuneBillie, your hubby sure is sweet!

Jane Quilter 05-28-2016 09:23 PM

wow...lucky you

Reba'squilts 05-29-2016 03:43 AM

Congratulations! Would love to own a machine like that! No room at our house! Enjoy your new machine!

I also have an encouraging husband. He nudges me to spend more at times that I feel like I want to spend. I'm more conservative about spending. He also encourages me with the quilting, classes, guild meetings and goes with me to quilt shows. He really enjoys the shows and seeing the artistry of others. Of course, I am a train enthusiast-for him.

That was a bargain! Congratulations. At 71% off I'd buy another one. I went and picked up my gently used LA set up. I got home and DH said what is that thing. I have the best DH. We don't discuss purchases as long as they can be paid off in a month.

Congratulations to you on 1) having a terrific hubby & 2) for getting your dream machine.
I'm sure you deserve it. I hope you enjoy many years with your new machine & your hubby too, of course.

annette1952 05-29-2016 02:02 PM

Wow! You are so lucky! That machine is awesome. ( & so is your husband) I wished there was a way for me to get in on that deal but it isn't possible. I am so happy for you. Don't forget to post some pics when you get it up & going. I would love to see some of your quilts.

Jingle 05-29-2016 03:55 PM
