My mum is getting a new Sewing Machine a Bernina 440 QE and she is going to give me her old Janome!!!! It is a quilter's edition and is only 2 years old and is hardly used!!! My sewing machine is called a Toyota and I picked it up from Spotlight, a fabric store here- it is really cheap, but does the job!!!!

I am so pleased for my mum, but it is like a double Christmas present! A pleasant surprise!!!!

Wasn't impressed with that store. Ok, it was the nasty, could have cared less people that worked there that I didn't like. That's when I went across the REALLY busy street for the LQS . lol

what kind of janomee is it? i love my 6600, even put it on a quilting frame, when my new, used pfaff grand was in the shop--because of my stupidity. the janome made small work of that twin quilt in nothing flat.

Its exciting to get a new machine! I have bought brand new and used machines and I was just as excited with the used as I was the new. That's great of your mom to give you the machine!
