A couple of days ago, I stated that I purchased a new AccuQuilt Go. Well today, I finally had the chance to try it out and I think I'm going to like it a lot. Did notice that that it makes pretty good marks on the cutting mat once it rolled through and I did rotate it several times. I hope it lasts awhile though.
I especially liked the fact that the dog ears were cut off on the triangles. It's a keeper!

My mats are lasting a long time, but I noticed the same thing the first few cuts. I also love the triangles! Mine was hard to crank at first; it has gotten easier to crank with use. Seems to me the mats are getting marked less also as long as I keep it to 4 layers of fabric (all I can easily crank through).

Same thing here--first couple of times the crank was a little hard to turn and the marks on the mat were pretty good. I used it quite a bit during the last week cutting a Sunbonnet Sue and found that the marks are much less obvious and the crank turns very easy. I really think the mats will last much longer than we originally thought. Have fun! I'm anxious to get some of the strip dies.

I would like to get some of the other dies, I just wish they weren't so expensive. Does anyone know of a place that has reasonable prices on them?

I absolutely love mine!

www.shoppersrule.com sometimes runs die sales for the Go! Might want to get added to their email list. This is a place where you can submit a bid on an item and they will either accept it or counterbid (which you can reject). Some people have started by bidding less than half price for something; when rejected, they bid a little more the following week and keep doing that until they get the rock-bottom price. Shipping can be high, though, and they run free shipping sales only twice a year or so.

Also, there is an Accucutquilters group on Yahoo with some business posters who give discounts.
