I read somewhere if you put one of those moisture little round things that they put in prescriptions. I put one of those things in my pins and I don't have any problems.
and yes I put my pins in my mouth to. I think we all do because it is like extra hand. Give the moisture things they really work for me. kjym Kathy |
Guilty here too. But boy I really try not to. But I read somewhere that if you put one of the moisture absorbing packets (like you get in the shoe box when you buy your tennis shoes-some shoe stores will give them to you because they just throw them away)in the container with your needles and pins they won't rust. Pins in your mouth are not such a good idea when you accidently swallow one...time at the doctor is time you could be sewing/quilting...

Why in heavens name would you put pins in your mouth. You need a wrist pin cushion. Bad habit and you could swallow one.

fine and there always handy , much to dangerous holding in ones mouth |
Swallow a pin - I think it would make me give up quilting. Will have to think about that everytime I start to put one in my mouth!

 then keep them out of your mouth  |
I have a magnet pin holder but grabbing one out of my mouth is quicker. I know it's a bad habit and I have thought about the danger of swallowing one but I don't even think when I'm doing it.
