Much better than a pony...although your garden may have benefited from the manure....

What an amazing present. Sounds like you have a really thoughtful boyfriend there.

rosiewell 12-28-2011 08:55 AM

and it eats a lot less than a pony! LOL

quiltymom 12-28-2011 09:08 AM

I sure would keep him !!!!!!! Great gift!!

caspharm 12-28-2011 10:41 AM

Great pony!!

To me that's definitely better than a pony and I have heard great things about that Singer model. Oh, by the way, take it from someone who has been married almost 43 years to someone not nearly as thoughtful, you keep that guy and keep him close, he's definitely a keeper

I love it when someone gets a new machine!! Now you need to practice on it and start posting pictures of the beautiful quilts you're going to make. By the way....I think your boyfriend is a keeper. :)

Congratulations on the wonderful guy you found and the gifts he brings. Enjoy them both.

pamesue 12-28-2011 04:18 PM

that type of pony is awesome...it can even stay in the house

Donna Yount 12-28-2011 06:04 PM

I bought myself the same machine for Christmas, and just tonight I finally got the time to set down and try all the different stitches, and it is so quiet. I know I will just love it to work with.

I have the same pony. I really like mine. Guys who "get" the whole sewing thing are awesome.

litacats 12-29-2011 01:25 AM

Wow what a wonderful boyfriend. congrats on your new machine

anniesews 12-29-2011 04:32 AM

Sure will cost less to feed. :-)

Geri B 12-29-2011 05:50 AM

Maybe Granny's cranky machine could use a little oil and maybe there is some lint in her joints.........
she might be good for a backup...
Enjoy your new machine/pony.....we have both machine and horse and believe me machine is less work!!!!!and it won't throw you off if it doesn't want to "play"

probles 12-29-2011 11:39 AM

I would rather have that than a pony. I love ponies, but they need feeding and daily care. Sewing machines just work for you with no question. Great gift. He is a keeper.
