Enchanted Quilter 03-03-2011 06:32 PM

When I joined everyone was talking about how many post you had to do to be a regular. I thought oh I'll never have that many, little did I know but this is addicting . I became a regular real fast. Now I have my coffee of morning in front of the computer so I can read the latest info. I just love the people the dif post all the beautiful pic's. I said when I retired I was just going to sew & quilt . No interest in my computer, I work on one 9-10hrs a day for 25yrs. Now look at me this is my 500 post. So if your new don't worry about whether you will become a regular or not ,just try to figure out when your going to quilt. Have a Great Day everyone. and Thanks.

IrelandDragonQuilting 03-03-2011 06:37 PM

Definitely addicting! I sneak in when I am at the office, just to try and catch up reading, so many new posts I don't catch them all :( But the people on here are absolutely fab!

BETTY62 03-03-2011 06:38 PM

Don't you just love this place? I can't stay away.

Qbee 03-03-2011 06:41 PM

Isn't it awful! I think I would get alot more quilting done if I could give up my QB addiction....ROFL!! :D

connie_1936 03-03-2011 06:42 PM

definitely addicting

Country1 03-03-2011 06:45 PM

It's VERY addictive!

frugalfabrics 03-03-2011 06:52 PM

it seems to be getting in the way of my quilting too! But I can't stay away....1600+ posts for me in less than 4 months.

wanderingcreek 03-03-2011 06:53 PM

I agree. I would be able to spend more time quilting if I could just figure out how to spend less time here on the computer. I am so addicted to this site but I have made many wonderful friends here and have learned a lot. Also shopped the classifieds a lot. But it has been a lot of fun as well.

BeverlyJo 03-03-2011 07:07 PM

I do love this place. I can't wait each day to get here. I haven't posted very much, but I sure have enjoyed reading everything on here. Definitely a highlight of my day.

sueisallaboutquilts 03-03-2011 07:22 PM

You are so right! And if you keep it up like I do you will remain a regular! hahaha
:D:D
I'm simply addicted to the board and all you wonderful people!

darlin121 03-03-2011 11:02 PM

It seems we all agree that visiting the boards is addicting. Gone the many hours I could have been sewing and in its place are hours of lessons learned, tips garnered and loads of laughs.... time well spent, I'd say.

How many posts does it take to be a regular?

AnnieH 03-03-2011 11:19 PM

My DH brings me a cuppa and my laptop every morning as he knows I like to read what my friends in the USA (and some elsewhere) are up to. This forum is the bizz.

Becky Crafts 03-04-2011 03:25 AM

Definitely addicting...I've been searching for those dratted bunnies on the shop hop the past two days & haven't gotten on here much. This morning, I didn't look for one of them, but you notice where I'm at! LOL!!

redmadder 03-04-2011 03:38 AM

Only been here since Feb 14. Now I have my earlybird coffee while reading. Have come close to letting the grandkids sleep too late, bad Grandma.

Brenda M 03-04-2011 03:43 AM

This site is definately addicting.... but full of wonderful people and advice!!!!

gaigai 03-04-2011 04:15 AM

Yeah, just think of all sewing time we spend here. Boggles the mind! My LQS owner actually doesn't recommend this board because "You can be totally addicted and spend WAY too much time there instead of sewing".

Your husband does WHAT? That cracks me up.... I bring mine his coffee in bed at 5:00 and then I settle down with my tea and lap top to see what every one else is doing. Now I find out in the UK there is one lucky lady who gets served, are you the queen? (you are to me!) I don't know how you did it...please advise.....

CarrieAnne 03-04-2011 04:27 AM

yes, so addicting, but youre all so fun!!!!!!!

emerald46 03-04-2011 04:59 AM

I completely agree. Now if I could figure out how to quilt at the same time I'm online all those WIPs just might get finished.

Wholeheart Mom 03-04-2011 05:04 AM

I look forward to my time spent on this board. Of course, there are many other things I could be doing, but this is my personal time and space. Woe to the person that tries to disrupt it with their mundane nonsense!

michelehuston 03-04-2011 05:37 AM

I may not post to every thread, but I read a lot of them! Get such great ideas here, and now that I have pneumonia, don't have the energy to quilt so I just sit here and read for a while. :D

lyndad 03-04-2011 06:53 AM

I'm always reading and keeping up, I don't post much because I'm at work (sshh I'm supposed to be working)
