OH, MY GOODNESS! I can't even imagine the excitement you felt seeing it was your quilt she was working on for her demonstration. It was such a fascinating video and your quilt is beautiful.

Your quilt is beautiful & the quilting is amazing!!
Surely a quilt to be cherished!! |
I'm glad to see the whole top. Your design is beautiful. I can see why Green Fairy chose it to use as a demo.

Now I see why those machines are so valuable! I watched her sew what it would have taken me three evenings to accomplish by hand! I think I want one! :) By the way, that's a beautiful quilt!

I don't have a long arm but I have mixed feelings about sending a quilt out for someone else to quilt it. When giving a gift, I like to make it all myself and having someone else quilt it takes my quilted gift out of that realm. Maybe one day I will reckon with that funny feelin'!! Green Quilter sure seems to do a very nice job and as though she is very comfortable using her long arm.

I haven't let go of the same feeling yet. My quilting isn't as beautifully done as the long-arm quilters, but I haven't yet been able to get over the feeling that it isn't all from me if I didn't complete each step. It is always good when I read of others who face the same feelings, not right or wrong, but guess those are the differences. I truly admire the beautiful work that long-arm quilters do, but it just isn't mine. If I had one, and learned to use it, then I could claim it.

Now that is pretty cool, your quilt is going to be beautiful.
