My Quilted Patio
 

I just had to share this. DH has been making a little area for me to sit out in next year. of course he didnt tell me what design he was going to do it in..and low and behold I got such a surprise when I saw the finished article. He decided to put quilt stars on it..as he said, I had got so much pleasure from my quilting in the last year, he decided to do a matching design for me..I thought it was really sweet:D What do you all think??

Thanks everyone, i thought it was a lovely thing to do-we celebrated out 40th wedding anniversary this year, and he is still as thoughtful as ever :) I will give him that big hug!!

Thanks everyone- yes he is lovely, and very thoughtful. he knows how much pleasure I get out of quilting for the last year and wanted to make somewhere for me to sit out in the summer. I had no idea he was putting quilting stars out though! I should have twigged though, as I was making a baby quilt with these patterns on it and he was taking a great interest in the stars but said nothing at the time lol he must have just filed it away for future use lol
