Your room is a little slice of heaven. Referencing suggestions - even with 16" centers, I found my shelves would bow under the weight we sewers tend to load on them. We got some decorative molding from the lumber yard, and secured it to the front of the planks used for the shelving. Not only did it dress up the shelves, but the primary objective of strength worked to prevent that sag.

Great space. I too quilt in a very small space so everything has to be organized or it's chaos. Would love to have a "studio" but am grateful for the small space I do have.

YOU are a brave lady! If I let my Dh into the quilt room to 'help' organize, watch out! I would take the backseat and everything wouldhave to be stowed, amrked etc the way he sees fit. Is he nasty?! Nope!

He is rather a perfectionistic type.
