I have been gathering fabric for several years to put this together -- where I live we don't see much pepper fabric, but when I see it I grab a piece.

DH took the picture and the color is not quite true -- I used the Fairy Frost that is basically a Christmas green -- it has some silver tones. The red is a true red with gold (I think it is a Moda).
This was all in my stash and I hate to say how old some of the fabric was. Unfortunately this was not a big enough project to put a dent in my stash.
