I like our local Hancocks, everyone is nice and helpful. Good sales too! I can get carried away in there and have to control myself, as is most of these stores!

I bought Ott Light bulbs and have them in my regular floor and table lamps int he LR where my sewing area is. Makes a world of difference.

I have had my Ott light for many years. I have never changed the light bulb (watch, it'll burn out tonight! lol). When my Mom lost her sight, she gave me hers. Then my sweet son in love gave me one! I'm a happy girl!! You will wonder how you ever worked without one! Enjoy:-)

It's so good because it's so bright while easy on the eyes. It just makes everything brighter. I have one and have been looking for another at garage sale, estate sales, etc. but people don't get rid of them or they go fast. I'll just have to fork over the dough for another.

I have had mine for years and now have 5, I think. They are great lamps. I use them for all close up work and sewing and reading and......

I have a Ott too, but my husband keeps stealing it to use for his drawing and painting. LOL Guess I need to buy a second one! Or un-retire him!

I love my Ott light too. I found it put out for the garbage men ( curbside storage ) and had to get it. I thought that just the bulb was burnt out. but it turned out to be the ballast witch is on the plug. I ordered a new one for $15.00 I love my light.

Love mine! It was a gift for my husband and he really loved it. After he died it became mine. I had no idea what a wonderful thing it was. I got one for my 93 year old Mom and she loves hers, too. I don't know how I lived without it!

The light from them is like being outside without being in bright sunlight-allows you to see colors perfectly (black on black, navy from black, etc etc). Mine is at least 10 yrs old and I haven't changed the bulb yet. You do have to be careful NOT to touch the bulb even when dusting, etc. I have the short floor lamp as I didn't have table space. Treat yourself!! :-)
