Very pretty and great way to get free pattern!

That's a great feeling. I purposely put heavy change, as I call it, in the cup holder on my console. When I see a thrift store, I lock my purse in the trunk and take the heavy change with me! Always find something that reflects my love for my faith or someone's handy work. Just a little something makes the day brighter, doesn't it?

Eleanor Burns ( Quilt in a Day) has an easy Dresden plate pattern. It is in a wedge shape. You fold right sides together and sew the largest end. Turn and press. No turning under edges to applique.

My weekly trip to a thrift store is my "therapy".. I can leave with an item that costs less than a dollar and feel like a million bucks. |
Great find, I love the thrift stores, Got two garbage bags full of material for $10 the other day. All of it was cotton must of been a quilter. I'm still washing the fabric.
It was smelling, but a friend of mine told me to wash in vinger/with fabric softener in wash, no soap. It took the musky smell out. rinse talkes the softener out. |
Great find. I agree, such fun just to see what you can find.
