Name this pattern please

As usual I found this on Pnterest and followed the link to no avail. Did the item search thing on Pinterest and found one other like it, but no pattern name. Searched Etsy till I was blue in the face. I'm terrible at trying to come up with a pattern on my own, so almost always must have an actual pattern to follow. It should be super easy to figure out, but I want the right dimensions if possible. Does anyone know this pattern name?Pin page

I just tried with scraps. I cut 5” squares snowballed with 3.5” corners. These are not sewn but I did cut off the seam allowance

Someone sure had a colourful tie collection.
And with the sheen of most ties, this quilt would really sing, IRL, I'm sure!

LindaSchipper ... I doubt there is a formal pattern out there for this.
Someone just got creative.
As CJSews suggested, it's snowballed corners to get the effect.
With ties having been used, the squares would be smaller than the 5".

Not that the larger size could not be used, it depends on how/big large you want the end result, in order to show the design of the quilt.

Good Luck!

I could see this made up with a bunch of oriental fabrics that I have been hoarding. Thanks for the idea, Linda!

I was thinking the blocks were perhaps 3" with a 1.5 or 2" white snowballed corner. What ever size you want, it will work. I am sure there is a pattern somewhere out there. The blocks are just laid out in a barn raising style aka bull's eye. Have fun with it, Linda. The bright colors sure do attract the eye!

That's a cute pattern. If you follow some of the other pins, you get this

A search for the picture lead me to another quilt on Pinterest! Man, what a rabbit hole, lol.

Anyhow, there are comments on this one, so although there is no pattern name, the first 2 comments would work, I think, to make this block. https://www.pinterest.com/pin/481040803960586163/

Ha - updating my response to add that, as I was closing pinterest, I saw this one, which has info at the top of the picture! HTH. https://www.pinterest.com/pin/51580358227806895/

It looks like a variation on MSQC's Trailing Squares. Hers is straight lines, you'd just have to decide how to do the turns.

The quilt's name is Arrowhead. It is the first quilt in Turnabout Patchwork: Simple Quilts with a Twist by Teresa Mairal Barreu.

The individual pattern and variations can be purchased from the author on Etsy.
