A friend ask me what the name of it is and I don't know. Does anyone know? Or maybe they was just using up scarps? It kinda reminds me of Cevron Quilt.

French braid maybe?

Tartan 05-20-2016 02:34 PM

Off center French Braid?

jbening 05-20-2016 03:06 PM

I would go with French Braid also. I'm not a big pink person but like the way you used it with the other colors.

QUILTNMO 05-20-2016 03:10 PM

Nice quilt!!

Definitely not French braid, which has a center square. The effect is like a prairie braid quilt, but not braided. I would say it is a chevron quilt, and rather pretty.

DOTTYMO 05-20-2016 10:33 PM

Looks like a French braid without the square so there a chevron.

You don't need a square in the center to make a french braid quilt.

How about, "Going my way?"

Annz 05-21-2016 12:56 PM

I'm not sure looks like a couple of different ones.

BrendaK 05-21-2016 02:07 PM

Looks like a Braid to me. Pretty. BrendaK

Looks like a hexagon braid to me. Do a search on it & you should find it.

Halo 05-21-2016 10:05 PM

I meant a half hexagon braid. Sorry about that. A senior moment I guess. That's my story & I'm sticking to it. LOL

twinkie 05-22-2016 03:03 AM

It does look like a variation of the French Braid.

Yooper32 05-22-2016 06:43 AM

I would call it a chevron. Guess that stems from my growing up during the WWII war and all the soldiers had chevrons on their sleeves, or the ones who had been in the army for a while.

maxnme01 05-22-2016 06:11 PM

It a chevron done in strips. NOT a French braid. Whatever you call it it's really nice.

I like Going my way. Like Hummer Lady. Im guessing you are wanting a name of your own. Not the regular name. My first thought was "The British are coming" LOL don't know why just came to me.
