Narrow border corners, not mitered

Hi all, I am sure I saw the link on this forum..
narrow border corners done in a very simple way, not "quilting police" approved ...;)
it would come in very handy for the quilt I am finishing, and I am sure I can figure it out eventually, but it was very well done video and I hate re-inventing the wheel, hope somebody remembers it, Thanks

The only time l ever mitre a border is if it's got a "stripe" in it! Otherwise, l sew top and bottom, then left and right sides, resulting in butted ends. Mitering wastes fabric and can stretch out of square easily.

Same here. -- I do this as well. I very, very rarely miter a border. Only I do both sides first, then the top and bottom.

The video I am looking for had a tutorial on a version of butted corner, sewn together on a wrong side and then turning over to the right side to cover the other edge for finished corner.
I will probably never find it again and wonder forever. ;)

Probably it is from https://www.quiltingboard.com/main-f...r-t260567.html which linked to https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6AYNV_DTa0M and here is another https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UvmRcNbbVlE Both look like there is a lot of bulk in the corners.

Janey - Neat people never make the exciting discoveries I do.

Thank you all for looking, taking the plunge tonight, what I have is not quite binding but a pretty narrow border, because I changed my mind mid stream :)
The video I was looking for attached all 4 sides on top, right sides facing and it was pre-folded.

I have now seen too many videos, some of them not very good, but never found The One.
Time to get on with it :)

I rarely mitre borders. I think I've done it once. I just put the side borders on first, make sure everything is squared up and then put the ends on. I've always been happy with the result. Besides, I don't much care what the quilt police think. ;)

:))
yes me neither.
I just managed to complicate my life because the border is angled... and amount limited....
but then we are supposed to challenge ourselves in our advanced age...and I am all over that ;)
