This coming Saturday is National Quilt Day, well at least in Canada it is, so my guild is doing a stashbusters and we have games and stuff planned. There are optional projects to work on too.... but I can't decide! Help me decide should I work on my own project(s), or do the Mystery quilt?

It would be a great time to finish that one quilt you just can't seem to finish...

I think you should work on your own stuff. You're going to be in an area that isn't familiar to you and I think it would be best to work on projects that you are already familiar with so that you can easily answer questions about them. Have a blast!

But Mystery quilts are so much fun!

I think working on the Mystery Quilt would be fun. After all it's a "Mystery" therefore it should be a challenge. Although you should do what "you" feel comfortable with doing.

what's a mystery quilt?

A mystery quilt is a quilt that you are given clues to make blocks to put you don't know what the final quilt is going to look like until it is all together.

It makes you go out of your comfort zone sometimes that is for sure.
