It's a combination of being frugal(aka cheap)and not wanting to venture outside.

I am a total homebody. :-)

When my WIP is finally done I suppose I'll have to wander on down to Joann's to get stuff for my daughter's quilt though.

OH it is??? I'm in luck...the hub's has to leave early tomorrow morning and will be gone all weekend! I also NEED to go to the LQS for something special! I see lots of sewing in my near future!

Guess that means more quilting this weekend! And I do have plans to visit a LQS but not able to buy anything at this time. Trying to use my stash. But it will be fun to look at all the new and colorful fabrics!

Darn- I don't think I'll be able to even quilt. I have friends in town.

called all my lqs, no one having anything special. what a bummer.

My guild puts together a day for national quilting day. Sadly I cant go this year. I ran it the last 2 yrs but recently had a baby so someone else organized this year. But I'm hoping to get some quilting in tomorrow during nap time.

I was planning on going to my LQS today but after reading this, I will head over there tomorrow. I don't need much--just some white/black fabric for Strip Poker at the retreat I will be attending after Easter. But I get the feeling I'll find more than that--always do.

DD, DGD and I went to a quilt show yesterday. Great quilts and great day with family.

National quilting weekend! I am taking it for me!!!! I had been under the weather and done nothing all winter, just no energy. Now that I am feeling better, I have spent some time in the sewing room this weekend. Actually, working on a baby quilt for charity. Gosh, it feels good.
