Every year I help my granddaughters make something for Christmas for thier family. This year we made beannie animal minkie scarfs. They had a great time cutting the beannie animals in half. They got to machine sew the scarfs and hand sew the animals to it. They turned out cute. We made frogs and horses and a kitty.

That is adorable! What a wonderful idea :D It is awesome that you are teaching them how to sew :D What a great way to spend time with your grands! :D

Didn't know it was Sewing Month - but!!! - on Friday a friend of mine has invited her mom to come to her house to teach three of us how to applique quilt!! I've been looking forward to this for some time now and cannot wait to do it!!!
