I knew it was comming up. Memorial Weekend is just not a good time for me to go. More family & vacation stuff going on. Wish they would have it on a non-holiday weekend.

Yes, I'm taking a machine quilting class on Friday with Harriet Hargrave and going to a lecture on Saturday with John Flynn. Other than that I'll be looking at quilts and spending money lol

Well, I didn't plan ahead of time so I'm not going. Have a great time and let us know how it went.

HH did talks at the Tucson show a couple years ago - she's great. I would love to take a class with her. John Flynn is great, too. He (or his daughter) usually come to the Tucson show, and they are very good about answering questions and showing you how to use the Flynn system.

Just to clear up the dates....the show is the weekend after Memorial Day (May 29, 30, 31).

Next weekend is Memorial Day. The show is the following weekend May 28,29 and 30

I'm signed up to work 2 hrs on Saturday and 2 on Sunday. I was going to take some classes, but couldn't afford it.

I know I said I wasn't going, but being that I'm a ding dong, LOL, I didn't realize that memorial day was this weekend. Duh I could've looked at a calendar. So now, I'm going!!!! YAY my first show!!!

I'm glad it's in Raleigh this year. Lots of years it's in Asheville and next year it will be in Charlotte. So we're lucky it's close by this year.

Sure would like to go, but it's to far for me to be away from Roy for that long. But I'll be thinking about all of you enjoying it!
